The Red Dragon fruit is mainly native to subtropical regions and owes its name to its irregular skin, which resembles a dragon’s skin. It is also called pitaya or pitahaya. Its beautiful pink sweet pulp adds an exciting colour to any fruit bowl or smoothie and is packed with healthy seeds. An ideal source of vitamins C, E and B, iron, calcium and phosphorus.
The fruit is sun-ripened and picked at the best moment. Then the fruit is carefully pureed and frozen. This way the aromas and nutritional values are optimally preserved and nothing is wasted!
