From Brazil to Amsterdam
My name is Rui Vieira, founder of Acai Amsterdam. In 2006, I moved from Brazil to the Netherlands with a dream of becoming an entrepreneur and contributing to a better world.
My passion for açaí took shape when a friend and I opened a shop in southern Brazil. We served fresh açaí bowls and sold pitaya, mango and other fruit purées. That experience planted the seed for Acai Amsterdam.
Today, açaí remains at the heart of what we do. Our range has grown to include superfruits, smoothies, granola and nutritional supplements, giving you more ways to find what suits your daily routine.
Our ambition is to contribute to a healthier world: fair for everyone and in harmony with nature. That belief continues to guide the business I want to build.
