Papaya Smoothie

Papaya reduces the risk of diabetes, heart disease and also has other benefits, such as healthier skin and hair. Needless to say, it is rich in fiber, a function that already facilitates intestinal transit. Combining the carrot with the papaya, in addition to giving it a unique flavor, helps to promote a more beautiful color. Carrots are rich in beta-carotene, which is a stimulant of melanin, a substance that promotes skin color and protects against ultraviolet rays.

Ingredients

2 units chopped and frozen small bananas
240 ml cold milk
160 grams of yogurt
1 unit carrot – peeled and diced
100g frozen papaya puree
1 teaspoon honey

Necessary kitchen utensils

Blender

Prepare

1. Beat all ingredients in a blender until the mixture is creamy.
2. Pour into a cup or mug and then serve.

Top tip : Papaya goes well with citrus, black pepper, lime, mango and tropical fruits.
