Biotona Bio Cacao Powder Raw comes from the beans of the Theobroma cacao, a tree that grows in the rich, fertile soils of the South American rainforests. Cacao was originally used by the Aztecs and Mayans in spiritual rituals and was later brought to Europe by the Spanish.
For Biotona Bio Cacao Powder Raw, only 100% organic Trinitario cacao beans from the Dominican Republic are used. The powder is obtained through an artisanal process of cold pressing, in which the beans are first fermented and sun-dried. This results in a 100% pure and raw cacao powder, which is unchanged and unsweetened, and retains all natural phytonutrients. A product that is honest and authentic in every way!
